Nous recrutons notre futur Account Manager (H/F) en CDI au sein de notre équipe Plantcare & Bioindustry ! Ce poste est situé à Lestrem (près de Lille).

Votre quotidien ? 

En tant qu'Account Manager « Plant Care & Bioindustry », vous serez chargé(e) de piloter les objectifs de vente et de marge pour la zone Europe (avec une prédominance plantcare).

Votre rôle consistera à entretenir et renforcer les relations avec nos clients existants, à prospecter de nouveaux partenaires et à identifier des opportunités de développement commercial. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec l’équipe technique, en particulier les développeurs d'affaires, pour maximiser l'impact de vos actions commerciales et garantir la croissance soutenue du secteur.

  • Être l’interlocuteur principal entre les clients et Roquette.
  • Atteindre les objectifs de vente et de marge pour la zone Europe.
  • Élaborer des stratégies de croissance pour la région.
  • Gérer les relations et interactions avec les clients.
  • Piloter le processus de négociation, depuis l'offre initiale jusqu'aux contrats et à la tarification.
  • Développer un pipeline de ventes et favoriser l'expansion du portefeuille client.
  • Analyser les informations de marché pour soutenir le développement de la stratégie territoriale et identifier les opportunités d'expansion de nos solutions.
  • Mettre en place et suivre les indicateurs clés de performance pour la gestion des comptes et les efforts de croissance.
  • Apporter un soutien local au GAM ou au KAM sur les comptes stratégiques.
  • Gérer les opportunités commerciales en collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe technique (CTS).
  • Contribuer à la mise à jour des prévisions de vente.
  • Suivre les tendances du marché et relayer la voix des clients pour fournir des insights stratégiques afin de nourrir les décisions commerciales et marketing en interne.

Déplacements clients sur la zone Europe, pour les conférences et les salons professionnels (20%).

Mais aussi : 

  • MS Business / Marketing. Une formation complémentaire en agronomie est un plus
  • 5 ans minimum d’expérience commerciale et de développement de business dans le secteur agro/agricole (nutrition et protection des plantes, traitement de semences ou d’engrais idéalement)
  • Connaissance des marchés des soins des plantes (nutrition des plantes, protection des plantes, agro-business) et/ou de la bio-industrie (fermentation industrielle)
  • Intérêt pour le développement durable
  • Volonté de travailler pour une entité en croissance rapide, promouvant des ingrédients à base de plantes pour la biotechnologie et l'agro-business
  • Bonnes compétences analytiques et de communication
  • Maitrise des outils CRM et ERP, MS Office

We are recruiting our future Account Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract within our Plantcare & Bioindustry team! This position is located in Lestrem (near Lille).

Our mission?

We supply plant-based ingredients that enable our clients to develop innovative solutions for plant nutrition and protection, aimed at agricultural professionals.

With our expertise in plant sciences, we are able to offer effective and environmentally friendly solutions to support innovation in plant care.

Your daily tasks?

As an Account Manager “Plant Care & Bioindustry,” you will be responsible for managing sales and margin targets for the Europe region (with a focus on plantcare).

Your role will involve maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients, prospecting new partners, and identifying business development opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the technical team, especially business developers, to maximize the impact of your commercial actions and ensure sustained growth in the sector.

By joining our team, your experience and talents will make a difference in:

  • Being the primary point of contact between clients and Roquette.
  • Achieving sales and margin targets for the Europe region.
  • Developing growth strategies for the region.
  • Managing client relationships and interactions.
  • Leading the negotiation process, from the initial offer to contracts and pricing.
  • Developing a sales pipeline and promoting the expansion of the client portfolio.
  • Analyzing market information to support the development of the territorial strategy and identify opportunities for expanding our solutions.
  • Setting up and monitoring key performance indicators for account management and growth efforts.
  • Providing local support to the GAM or KAM for strategic accounts.
  • Managing business opportunities in collaboration with the technical team (CTS).
  • Contributing to sales forecasting updates.
  • Monitoring market trends and sharing customer feedback to provide strategic insights that inform internal business and marketing decisions.
  • Traveling to meet clients across Europe, for conferences and trade fairs (20%).

Other requirements:

  • MS Business/Marketing. Additional training in agronomy is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of commercial experience and business development in the agro/agriculture sector (ideally in plant nutrition and protection, seed treatment, or fertilizers).
  • Knowledge of the plant care markets (plant nutrition, plant protection, agro-business) and/or bio-industry (industrial fermentation).
  • Interest in sustainable development.
  • Willingness to work for a rapidly growing entity promoting plant-based ingredients for biotechnology and agro-business.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP tools, MS Office.
