Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with expertise in radiation oncology? Do you thrive in a hybrid or remote role with significant travel, building strong partnerships with customers? If so, Elekta is looking for an Account Manager to drive business growth across the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden). 

 

What you’ll do at Elekta 

 

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing Elekta’s installed base and increasing turnover within your geographical area. You will play a crucial role in identifying business opportunities, fostering customer relationships, and driving sales for Elekta’s Oncology Portfolio (Software and Hardware). This includes everything from prospecting, quoting, and closing sales to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 

 

This role is hybrid or remote, with significant travel required to customer locations across the region. You will also have access to Elekta’s offices when needed. 

  

Responsibilities 

Sales & Business Development: 

  • Develop and execute commercial action plans to drive sales and after-sales service solutions. 

  • Identify and qualify customer needs across Elekta’s full product suite. 

  • Manage public tenders from initial engagement to contract signing. 

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. 

  • Conduct regular visits to both Elekta and competitor installed bases to stay ahead of purchasing decisions. 

  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Applications, Project Management, Service) to ensure seamless customer experience. 

Marketing & Industry Representation: 

  • Represent Elekta at congresses and industry events, identifying new business opportunities. 

  • Provide customer feedback to the marketing department to shape product development and strategy. 

  • Monitor and analyze competitor strategies in the market. 

 

What you bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or business-related field, OR equivalent experience in the medical device industry. 

  • Knowledge in Radiotherapy, Radiosurgery, or Radiation Oncology workflows is preffered. 

  • Proven track record in capital medical equipment sales and negotiation. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels, from technologists to C-level executives. 

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically dispersed team. 

  • Fluency in English and additional Nordic language (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Swedish) is required.
