Provides customer service to internal and external clients. Supports Consultants and business partners with the goal of client retention and growing the book of business. Resolves client issues efficiently and accurately primarily through phone and electronic communication methods. Utilizes exceptional customer service skills and vendor relationships to coordinate responses to client service requests in methods that exceed their expectation. Responsible for managing the client service expectations by being accessible and responsive to the Customer and the Customer Team keeping them advised of deadlines and updates. Serving internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner, and following all corporate guidelines. Proficient in all products that Associated Benefits Connection offers.
This person will also:
- Support inbound call center and managing shared mailbox for account holder questions. Resolves and answers any account holder problems or question by being an “inside” expert and an advocate with the business line. Deals with account holders on routine, sensitive or urgent topics and is able to provide answers and advice either immediately or within a reasonable period of time. Interprets a variety of regulations, policies, procedures and convey the information to account holders either directly or through written communication.
- Provide problem resolution to support account holders and be a liaison between other departments in addressing shared concerns. Escalate account holder feedback to management when appropriated.
- Organizes work flow to ensure quick, efficient processing of mail, work-in-process issues, remote deposit capture and account holder documentation a “no backlog’ status in line with department's SLAs.
- Appropriately documents in client management system all communications with account holders.
- Backs up other Account Managers position in the department, as appropriate.
- Develops “expertise areas” as assigned – these may be in relation to specific products, claim processing, reporting, IDV/OFAC, Fraud other areas.

- 1-3 years Insurance, HSA or TPA Industry experience. Preferred
