As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
The Account Management Director will be expected to provide leadership, direction, and solution-oriented thinking to link the customer’s and Confluent’s operation teams. This individual will ensure advocacy for the customer and work closely with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Product Solutions, Customer Operations, and Sales to provide solutions that fulfill our customers’ needs with speed, accuracy, and exceptional communication.
This role will be expected to 1) develop innovative solutions to unusually complex problems; 2) resolve conflicts between varying approaches; 3) exert influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of an organization; 4) significantly impact decisions within a site and/or global functions. They will serve as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects, programs, operational decisions and contractual clarifications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates as the lead point of contact for matters specific to assigned customers
- Develop and foster customer relationships by working directly with assigned customers. Work to understand customer requirements and be able to hold both the customer and Confluent accountable to commitments
- Balance the business objectives of customers with Confluent Medical objectives. Work to hold all parties accountable to achieve solutions which benefit each side
- Communicate with customer around business reviews, quality systems, CAPA/SCAR’s, PRR approval, CIP’s, and other programs.
- Work with the Site Leadership Team(s), Customer Operations Team, and associated personnel to serve as the voice of the customer
- Effectively facilitate and manage the involvement of other Confluent Medical team members with the customer to resolve critical issues.
- Become knowledgeable about the associated manufacturing processes, use, and market for customers
- Develop and manage revenue goals for each assigned customer and construct strategies to optimize
- As required, manage base business contracts with guidance from Finance, Sales & Legal
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent, MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Project/Account Management with Medical Devices or a related field
- Demonstrated experience of internal and external manufacturing operation systems & processes (MRP, capacity, level-loading, and team structure) in addition to strong Excel & Powerpoint skills
- Proven account/project management experience, able to stay very well organized
- Fluency with Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and full understanding of the associated components and how they impact profitability
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Highly responsive customer service attitude
- Data analysis expertise
