Numeral is a payment technology provider that enables fintechs, payment services providers, and banks to launch new products, expand geographically, comply with payment regulations, and scale their operations with Numeral's cloud-native, API-first payments platform.

The role


As Account Executive for DACH and the Nordics, you will be responsible for designing and executing our sales and partnerships strategy for fintechs and banks.


At Numeral, we embrace a strong hybrid working culture with the flexibility to work remotely or from any Mambu office (Paris, London, Amsterdam…). While you can choose your preferred work style, travel across Europe may be required up to once a month, typically for team meetings or to visit prospects and customers. Please note that our remote working policy applies to residents of the UK or EU countries who hold valid working visas.

Responsibilities

  • Market ownership - Lead the commercial development of Numeral in DACH and the Nordics working with our banking and ISV partners
  • GTM strategy – Map our markets and identify high-potential segments. For each segment, develop a GTM strategy to grow Numeral in the market
  • Sales preparation – For each opportunity, establish a sales strategy, including points of contact, use cases, value proposition, and messaging working with the product marketing team
  • Account nurturing and network building – Establish contact and build relationships with your target accounts through active engagement in the European fintech ecosystem and our network of partners.
  • Deal management – Manage the deal process using MEDDICC and challenger sales to create compelling business cases for our customers to modernise their payment infrastructure. Prepare sales proposals articulating use cases, product features, and pricing models to transform opportunities into customers
  • CRM & reporting – Ensure that our CRM is properly up to date, define relevant metrics, and build actionable reports to measure and improve our sales cycle

Your profile

  • Strategic thinker – You are able to break down a market into segments and a business into a value chain
  • Curious and fast learner – You learn very fast and like to understand how things work in depth
  • Resourceful – You do not need guidelines as there will not be any to kick-start projects from 0 to 1
  • Persistent – You do not take no for an answer and find ways around objections and doorkeepers
  • Influential and persuasive – You are good at navigating an organisation to influence purchasing decisions
  • Excellent academic and professional background – Have at 5-10 years of experience in a strategy or fintech enterprise sales role with a proven track record
