Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. The Accounts Executive will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of records, including journal entries, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data, following established accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare and process transactions.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain cash transaction records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant data and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Liaise with vendors to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment processing.
- Assist the Accounts team in special projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Tax regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in using Tally and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
