Our Account Executives are responsible for selling the full suite of our solutions to drive new revenue in Enterprise, Large or Small law firm, and Corporate accounts. These are high impact positions that contribute to our overall growth by delivering sales through strategic account management, influence, relationship-building, and value-based selling. Account Executives use their experience in selling Legal Tech to build and cultivate relationships to identify and execute on new growth opportunities, including substantial expansion within current clients.

A Day in the Life

  • Attain monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Earn credibility as a trusted advisor for key contacts within each customer in your territory

  • Actively listen, understand customer objectives, and articulate relevant technology and business trends and benefits

  • Develop detailed territory and account plans by working cross-functionally

  • Expand relationships and grow our partnership within each customer

  • Prospect into current customer accounts for cross-sell opportunities

Role Progression

Within 1 Month, You Will:

  • Complete New Hire Onboarding and participate in instructor-led Sales Bootcamp

  • Be prepared to effectively manage all steps in the sales process

Within 3 Months, You Will:

  • Prepare, present, and begin executing on a strategic territory growth plan

  • Prospect and close deals

Within 6 Months, You Will:

  • Manage full sales cycle for territory/region and consistently generate new pipeline to drive growth

  • Be a key contributor to Sales QBR presentations for your territory

  • Eagerly navigate complex organizations and the decision-making process

  • Organized, collaborative, get things done, and consistently meet metric-based quota goals

  • Comfortable with a quickly changing environment

  • Thrive on open transparency, communication, and collaboration internally and externally

  • Competency with Salesforce, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $60,000 to $125,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
