A Private Equity Analyst role at a Avathon involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth equity investments, with a focus on promoting green energy innovations and domestic manufacturing. This position offers hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle, significant responsibility, and collaboration with senior leadership and management teams

You Will:

  • Assist in transaction structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and articulate investment theses and recommendations.
  • Support operational improvements, strategic growth initiatives, and long-term value creation plans for portfolio companies.
  • Proactively identify and source growth equity opportunities through industry research, networking with founders and entrepreneurs, and building relationships with intermediaries and advisors.
  • Conduct market research, financial analysis, and detailed due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials for internal committees and external stakeholders.

You'll Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a strong academic record.
  • 2-3 years of pre-MBA experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passion for growth equity and partnering with companies to achieve transformational outcomes.
