  • To perform day-to-day account work confidently and competently; 
  • To work effectively with team members to implement assignments on budget and on deadline, balancing competing priorities; 
  • To be fully familiar with group’s communications plans for accounts and understands and tracks clients’ businesses; 
  • To liaise between client, outside suppliers and other internal and external contacts; 
  • To develop and sustain positive and professional relationship with client contacts; 
  • To identify and propose ways to advance team, group, agency and client interests; 
  • To develop ability to conceptualize programme strategies and implementation tactics; 
  • To routinely apply understanding of budget development and monitoring; 
  • To contribute to budget development where appropriate; 
  • To manage time for optimum productivity and maximum billability; 
  • To understand and manage billing and activity reporting processes; 
  • To meet billability targets established for the account executive position; 
  • To complete timesheets daily and submits them on time; 
  • To draft effective, professional documents for clients; 
  • To implement events for clients; 
  • To be competent at using internal and external research capabilities and preparing in-depth analyses; 
  • To understand and use technical resources, graphics, production and printing, video and broadcast, IT and emerging media where relevant to his/her account and project work; 
  • To act in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times, be familiar with the company’s vision and exemplifies the company’s values.

  • Anticipates consequence of events when planning projects and takes necessary action to keep projects on track; 
  • Acts as the client’s day to day contact for all logistical issues. 
  • Builds a strong and constructive relationship with key day to day client and agency personnel; 
  • Demonstrates strong listening skills. 
  • Understands the key drivers of profit and loss; 
  • Manages accuracy and timelines of estimating and invoicing. 
  • Appreciates the broader business context in which we operate; 
  • Seeks to gain a broader business understanding. 
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of the key elements of the communications mix. 
  • Demonstrate sound creative judgement. 
  • Familiar with the Ogilvy 360 and Brand Stewardship toolbox. 
  • Understands and is able to use discipline specific tools.
