Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Managed Service Provider (MSP) Sales Representative to join our growing software company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our partner base by promoting a wide range services and solutions. The ideal candidate is someone who is hard-working, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and be coached is essential as we continuously evolve our offerings and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Recruitment: Prospect, qualify, and onboard new MSP and MSSP partners with the intent of marketing and selling a service offering around Teramind licenses to their customers.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with partners by understanding their needs (as well as the needs of their customers) and presenting them with tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a working knowledge of the Teramind product offering, including employee productivity monitoring, insider threat management, and data loss protection to effectively communicate with potential partners and clients.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and pitches, including identifying key industry trends and customer pain points.
  • Consultative Selling: Provide consultative sales approaches that demonstrate the value of Teramind’s solutions and differentiate Teramind from competitors. 
  • Lead Generation and Networking: Use a variety of methods such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM system. Provide regular updates on progress toward sales goals.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience, with a track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience or familiarity with IT, managed services, or cybersecurity is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of both MSP and MSSP business models, including IT infrastructure, networking, and security solutions, is also beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for technology and helping clients solve both security and employee productivity challenges.
