The Role

The Account Director will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding our enterprise-level clients. This position is key to building long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders, understanding clients’ business objectives, and proactively driving value to ensure our clients achieve their goals. You will work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to deliver exceptional service, maximise customer retention, and identify opportunities for growth.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role that requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex business challenges. You’ll be expected to act as a trusted advisor to our largest clients, driving their success and ensuring they unlock the full potential of Mention Me’s platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at enterprise-level clients. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, ensuring that clients receive maximum value from Mention Me's platform.
  • Strategic Account Planning:
    Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and key priorities. Develop and execute tailored strategies to ensure clients meet and exceed their goals using Mention Me’s solutions.
  • Proactive Account Growth:
    Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling that will enhance client success and deliver measurable business outcomes. Drive and close high-value opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Collaboration with Customer Success:
    Partner closely with the Customer Success team to ensure timely and effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support. Help clients solve challenges, troubleshoot issues, and navigate the platform to maximise their results.
  • Client Retention and Risk Management:
    Proactively monitor account health and identify potential risks to retention or satisfaction. Take ownership of mitigating churn and ensuring clients renew and expand their contracts.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    Provide regular performance updates to clients, analysing key metrics and business results. Use data-driven insights to inform conversations and demonstrate the value Mention Me is delivering to clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive client experience. Share client feedback and insights to inform product improvements and ensure alignment across teams.

We'd really like to hear from you, if you have...

  • 7 years experience in Account Management or similar client facing role, with at least 2 years managing enterprise-level clients, ideally in a SaaS or MarTech environment.
  • Experience working with C-level and senior executives is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of strategic account management and customer success best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them to drive client success and revenue growth
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets 
  • Highly proactive and self-motivated
