Position Overview
As an ABM Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies aimed at high-value accounts. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create personalized and impactful campaigns that engage decision-makers in key industries. A strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape is a major plus, but a keen ability to execute sharp, direct targeting strategies is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Targeting & Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute account-based marketing strategies for high-value target accounts, ensuring alignment with sales and company objectives.
- Identify and research key accounts to understand their needs, challenges, and decision-making processes.
- Leverage data and insights to create personalized marketing content and campaigns that speak directly to the needs of individual accounts.
- Campaign Execution & Optimization:
- Plan and implement multi-channel ABM campaigns (email, social, events, direct mail, etc.) with a focus on driving engagement and pipeline growth.
- Continuously optimize campaigns to ensure maximum ROI, analyzing metrics such as engagement, conversion rates, and deal progression.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure smooth alignment on account outreach and messaging.
- Partner with content and design teams to create customized materials (case studies, whitepapers, etc.) tailored to specific accounts.
- Relationship Building & Nurturing:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts, including decision-makers and influencers.
- Drive engagement with strategic accounts through ongoing communications and personalized touchpoints.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Track, analyze, and report on the success of ABM initiatives, using data to inform future strategies and continuously refine targeting efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM), ideally with a focus on B2B or cybersecurity industries.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams.
- Experience in using ABM tools (e.g., 6sense, Influ2, Dealfront, Bombora, etc..CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactics that deliver measurable results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling messages tailored to specific accounts.
- Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus but not a requirement. An interest in learning more about the cybersecurity space will be essential.
