Internship Overview

OpenSesame seeks passionate, driven students to join us for a paid summer internship program. Suppose you’re intelligent, curious, and full of fresh ideas. As a Partner Team intern, you’ll dive into impactful projects that directly contribute to OpenSesame’s growth and success. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, work cross-functionally with other teams, and gain valuable exposure to our leadership while building meaningful relationships.

About the Partnerships Team

The Partnerships Team at OpenSesame is at the forefront of building powerful alliances with industry-leading LMSs, LXPs, HR platforms, and cutting-edge technology providers. 

We’re the bridge that connects innovation with opportunity, collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to amplify OpenSesame’s reach, drive meaningful impact, and shape the future of eLearning. Together, we create strategic relationships that unlock new possibilities and fuel our mission to transform workplace training!

Performance Objectives

2 Weeks:

  • Complete onboarding to understand OpenSesame’s partnership strategy and tools.
  • Learn how to use internal systems, including Salesforce and Google Sheets.
  • Begin supporting partner programs through database updates and organizational tasks.

By 30 Days:

  • Provide analytical assistance for ongoing partner initiatives, including creating reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships Team to improve internal resources and documentation.
  • Support branding and lead generation initiatives alongside Marketing and Sales teams.

By 60 Days:

  • Own a project aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of partner programs.
  • Take ownership of small projects, such as streamlining partner-related workflows or creating partner-focused resources.

Additional Program Details

Application Closes: 

  • Friday, March 14th, 2025

Program Dates: 

  • Start: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
  • End: Friday, August 15, 2025

Commitment:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week) for 7 ½ weeks

Compensation:

  • Standard: $18/hour

Fully Remote Role: Interns must have a personal computer and access to consistent high-speed internet during working hours.

Opportunities and Expectations: As a summer intern at OpenSesame, you’ll have the chance to grow your skills through training courses and meaningful work. You’ll also participate in enriching program events, including learning opportunities, networking, community service projects, and book club discussions. 

Additionally, you’ll collaborate with other interns on a group-led project that will have a real impact.

Interview Process: After the initial resume review, selected applicants will be invited to complete a creative project of their choice—such as a video, vision board, writing sample, or website—to showcase their skills and answer questions about why they’re interested in this opportunity and what makes them a great fit. This will be followed by interviews with our team.
