Your Role:
The SpringWorks Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within SpringWorks, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. The Quality department at SpringWorks is responsible for supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of computerized systems, providing oversight of the Computerized System throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, and ensuring agency regulations/standards/guidance are being met/adhered to.
In this role, you will work within the Quality Assurance organization to support quality and compliance initiatives as part of the Systems Quality team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to gain a broad knowledge of various departments and systems within a GxP environment, and exposure to quality systems and processes.
Location Classification – Hybrid:
This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), or more depending on business needs. #LI-Hybrid
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and compile data for migration into electronic management system and archive
- Help prepare SpringWorks by performing Inspection Readiness Activities to prepare site for health authorities.
- Engage in experiential learning to understand the role of Quality and its impact at SpringWorks and patients that take our medicine.
- Assisting with updating Quality System SOPs and Work Instructions where applicable.
- Meet with Quality Stakeholders in other functional departments to understand how their role engages with Quality.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Role Requirements:
- Education: Enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s program in a STEM related field.
- Computer / technology experience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate IT Knowledge
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
Standard Requirements for all intern positions:
- Ability to complete the entire 10-week program (from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025) and commit to 40 hours per week
- Applicants must be available to work onsite weekly a minimum of 2 days/5 days for onsite positions.
- Final presentation to manager & department team members at the end of the 10-week program (mandatory).
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the program.
- Applicants currently enrolled in an accredited college/university for undergraduate, graduate or PharmD program. Must have completed at least two semesters at an accredited U.S. college or university before the start of the program.
- Applicants must attend a school in a U.S. state or territory and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Applicants must have a strong desire to pursue a career in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology field post-graduation.
- Applicants must meet the minimum requirements of the role, both in Education (BS/MS/PharmD/Ph.D/etc.) and experience.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected hourly rate for this position is $26.50/hour.
