As a Junior Developer Connections Manager within the Developer Connections team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with the creator community, ensuring their success and satisfaction. You will collect valuable feedback from creators, collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements, and act as a trusted advisor by helping creators identify growth opportunities and additional pathways for success.
In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and leading our top creator calls, ensuring productive discussions and follow-ups to address key concerns and opportunities. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage and work closely with product and engineering teams during platform incidents. You will advocate for innovative solutions, drive team meetings to address creator concerns, improve our escalation playbook, and facilitate clear communication between Roblox staff and creators.
We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills, boundless patience, self-motivation, and a passion for supporting and empowering creators. This position reports to the Senior Technical Developer Connections Manager.
You Will:
- Foster and maintain relationships within the creator community.
- Gather feedback from creators and collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements.
- Develop reports to help identify creator trends and painpoints
- Help creators identify opportunities for growth.
- Organize and lead top creator calls, ensuring actionable follow-ups to address key creator concerns.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, with time off and a flexible work schedule to ensure emergencies are covered.
- Communicate with product & engineering during creator emergencies.
- Drive weekly team meetings to find solutions and unblock issues for team members.
- Develop and expand the playbook for creator escalations.
- Manage communication between Roblox staff and creators.
You Have:
- Possessing/possess an undergraduate/graduate degree in Game Design, Game Development, or a related field.
- Motivated by teamwork, naturally encourages people to work together.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated endless patience and a positive attitude.
- Self-Directed with the ability to establish your work and processes.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$86,000—$86,000 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
