Human Resources Group is looking for an HR Data and Analytics Summer Intern to support our HR Operations team. The HR intern is a rising junior who will support operations by conducting research, leveraging data, and recommend strategic enhancements. We are highly committed to hiring and retaining talented employees, and the Human Resources group is central to champion that mission. 

Responsibilities  

  • Apply analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights within HR data.

  • Assist with research on HR topics and best practices to support HR initiatives. 

  • Utilize analytical tools to consolidate and audit enterprise-wide human capital data. Create reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings to HR teams and stakeholders.

  • Maintain employee records and files in external and internal systems. 

  • The HR Intern will also take on one larger project over the course of the summer.  Previous projects have included automation of onboarding documentation, research and development of a Parent’s Resource group, and development of an online training syllabus for new analysts. 

 

Qualifications  

The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • Qualified candidates will be pursuing a Bachelors degrees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word; Excel; Outlook; Power Point). 
  • Strong Excel skills required, including the ability to create macros, vlookups and pivot tables. Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. 
  • Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker. 
  • High degree of integrity and maturity with the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality. 
  • Attention to detail and concern for quality of final product (and ability to balance that concern with deadlines).
