Deere & Company is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Johnston, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Design, development and testing of solutions using industry practices including Event Driven and SOLID principles (4 yrs); Relational database development and design using MySQL, SQL Server, H2, GT.M(mumps) (4 yrs); API development REST using Open API Specification (OAS), SOAP (4 yrs); Design and Develop backend microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring, Python and using modern JavaScript libraries like TypeScript and Node) (4 yrs); Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) practices using Junit, Jest, Mockito, JMeter (4 yrs); Working experience of AWS Services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Fargate, EC2, EventBridge, S3 and ECS (2 yrs); Experience with agile development methodologies including paired programming (2 yrs); Experience with CI/CD, automating/building/deployment using Jenkins, Infrastructure as code using Terraform (4 yrs).
