About you and this role - What you would do in this role
Dow is looking for successful candidates for the MBA Leadership Development Program who will be graduating with an MBA from an accredited University Business School program. Leadership development opportunities in Strategy and Finance. The objective of the Leadership Development Program is to create an accelerated path to senior leadership for a few exceptional people who can bring new ideas and insights to the opportunities and challenges facing Dow. In doing so, we will also create a powerful pipeline of future executive leaders for our company.
Primary Roles in the Program:
- Analyze and recommend on enterprise-level (i.e. company-wide) strategic issues, priorities, and direction.
- Use of Porters 5-forces, VBM, and/or equivalent strategic analysis frameworks to assess Global Business Units.
- (GBU's) and corporate strategy, valuation creation of current and strategic alternatives.
- Possible travel and exposure to other regions/countries as deemed appropriate for project.
- Candidate will have the opportunity for senior executive exposure and mentoring.
- Opportunity for Strategy or Financial Portfolio management >$200MM Profit and Loss responsibility.
Qualifications – Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).
- Complete requirements for MBA degree from an accredited University's Business School.
- A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or qualifying Asylee/Refugee).
Preferred Skills – An expanded list of qualifications that are “nice to have”, but not essential.
- Have prior experience with a global business, consulting, financial strategy, and management.
- Prefer 5-7 years of work experience at an operating company
