Position Overview
Electra.aero, a next-gen aerospace technology company, seeks a dynamic and energetic HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team. This role will be responsible for coordinating onboarding activities for new hires and supporting the Recruiting team and HR Leader. You will thrive in this role if you love to learn and pay attention to details, possess a sense of urgency, and are excited about contributing to process improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Prepare, distribute, process, and track paperwork for new hires, such as policies, I-9, tax forms, and other HR-related forms, and ensure employee profiles are set up and maintained in HR systems and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition to Electra.
- Partner with Recruiting and other stakeholders to process Full-Time consultant onboarding.
- Partner with other stakeholders in the onboarding process, such as accounting, Facilities, IT, and hiring managers, to set up everything for every new hire and full-time consultant.
- Respond to requests from recruiters throughout the recruiting process, assist with scheduling and organizing interview seminars, and assist with collecting candidate feedback from internal teams.
- Ensure HR files are up to date and complete, work with the HR Director for annual audits, and collect requested data for annual financial audits, M&A information requests, and manager inquiries.
- Maintain all HR content on the intranet and be a business partner and point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Assist with preparing and filing in new states/counties for payroll, monitoring HRIS system, and participating in projects to upgrade/maintain HR Systems automation and implement new HR Technology & processes.
- Organization of performance and non-performance-based awards and recognition programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree - Human Resources, Business, Communication, Psychology or related field and 2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, campus recruitment, or program coordination (or combination of equivalent years of experience and education)
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand the business environment, strategy, and people initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate key messages and ideas clearly and effectively
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the readiness to take on any new tasks that are handed to you
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)
Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
- Experience with JazzHR, iSolved ATS & HRIS, and Rippling a plus
Location:
- Headquarters in Manassas, VA. To encourage close collaboration, we are looking for someone who can be onsite 5 days a week, and some virtual work is allowed. 5% travel expected
Salary: Electra’s salary range for this position is $64,515.00 – $176,715.00
Budget Benchmark for this position is $65,000.00
Our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum range for the Company level overall across all locations & projects and does not necessarily reflect the budgeted amount for this position. Individual pay depends on additional factors, including project budgets, job-related skills, experience, relevant education and/or training, role, level, location, and project.
