“Flawed” is a word that Jon Hsu uses to describe the mortgage service ecosystem that he — along with fellow co-founders Andrew Wang and Eric Chiang — aims to reimagine at Valon. “Andrew previously worked with mortgage investors and saw how broken the current experience was from the servicing side. Eric and I both hold mortgages and felt the pain and frustration as homeowners,” Hsu said. A few years after its launch in 2019, Valon continues to grow as team members look to hand the keys to a more seamless experience to homeowners.
