One word comes to Strategic Partnership and CSR Manager Madi Dixon’s mind to describe The Heico Companies: industrious. “It’s a company that prospers through the prioritization of diligence and hard work,” she said. In her work identifying environmentally and socially responsible partnerships and driving the strategies behind them, Dixon knows this characteristic well. “Our company instills the importance of working diligently,” she said. “As such, we recruit individuals who match this work ethic and reward our hired individuals and teams for the same.” Prioritizing an industrious culture ensures that Heico’s operations on five continents and 19 countries are as diverse as the people they serve.

With its U.S. and Canadian arms operating as certified women-owned businesses, inclusion flows from the top down — and outside the company, too. “We are actively engaged with our key partners to foster relationships with other women-owned businesses,” Dixon said. In her role, Dixon manages Heico’s supplier diversity initiative, which facilitates connections with diverse-owned businesses. “These efforts have allowed us to competitively differentiate while investing in economic equality in global supply chains,” she said.

My role acts as a central point for communication and strategic initiatives across the various moving parts of our global enterprise value chain.
