Benefits at Double Good

Double Good offers opportunities for employees to engage with outside partners to experience firsthand the impact of their work, whether they are working in shipping, technology, manufacturing, and beyond. Employees have virtual and in-person participatory activities with partners including Surfers Healing, USASF, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Camp Wings of Friendship, and Feed Our Starving Children, to name a few.

Our People Team cultivates a steady stream of good vibes for employees in our multiple offices. Each month, the best food trucks in Chicagoland visit our offices to provide food, and we even offer monthly massages.

We believe it is essential to celebrate the work of our employees throughout the year and ensure there is an open communication feedback loop to keep standards high and teams motivated. Our annual summer boat party returned after a year hiatus with record attendance.

Over the holiday, Double Good gifted every employee through Snappy, which allowed individuals to choose from a catalog of gifts that they'd like best.

Double Good is restless in its pursuit of progress, and there has been an emphasis on internal training and leadership workshops. We also strive to recognize exemplary work by promoting individuals from within.

For transparency and to keep everyone informed, our CEO and Founder, Tim Heitmann, hosts monthly town halls with leadership to communicate business objectives and progress. We also have a monthly newsletter to share the happenings with employees as another way to keep the team informed.

Double Good instituted an Annual Reward Plan (ARP) for all eligible employees. The ARP was designed to set a business objective, have everyone in the organization work towards that goal, and share that goal's success. It is a reward directly related to achieving success together.
