IT managed solutions provider efex has acquired Medihost Solutions, which specializes in IT consulting for healthcare practices, according to a press release.

Sydney-based efex has been fueling its growth through acquisitions with a focus on enhancing its offerings across the professional services, education, mining and remote services verticals. Earlier this year, efex acquired Adelaide-based Aish IT, Canberra-based Wyscom and Geelong-based Worldmark Corporate Consulting to expand its geographical footprint and customer base.

“The investment mandate for our acquisitions is simple, we find like-minded companies with a commitment to providing seamless and straightforward IT solutions. This is what differentiates us in a space that is often needlessly complex. We look forward to delivering enhanced value to our clients, ensuring that technology remains an enabler, not a hurdle, in their business operations,” efex CEO and Founder Nick Sheehan said in a statement.

With the addition of Medihost Solutions, efex is poised to further accelerate its growth and strengthen its portfolio of services and solutions for midmarket businesses. Medihost Solutions will maintain its team and branding, with CEO Phillip Morgan serving in an advisory role.
