Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong proficiency in XML and a solid understanding of various data ingestion and transmission protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience with e-communications regulatory compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to document processes effectively.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110K - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize XML-based infrastructure solutions to support data ingestion and transmission.

Understand and implement various data ingestion and transmission protocols, including APIs, SMTP, SFTP, and others.

Ensure compliance with e-communications regulatory requirements and archiving concepts, maintaining the integrity and security of data.

Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues, leveraging strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support decision-making processes.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.

Provide exposure and support for ServiceNow, assisting in incident management and service requests as needed.

Participate in audit, risk, and controls reviews, contributing to the identification and mitigation of potential risks.

Document processes, procedures, and system configurations to ensure clarity and compliance with internal and external standards.
Requirements:
You are:

Proficient in XML and its applications in data transmission and ingestion.

Strong understanding of data ingestion and transmission protocols, including APIs, SMTP, SFTP, etc.

Familiarity with e-communications regulatory compliance and archiving concepts.

Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and systems effectively.

Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in functions, formulas, and data manipulation.

Experience with ServiceNow is preferred, including exposure to incident and request management processes.

Familiarity with audit, risk, and controls frameworks, along with process documentation experience.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
It would be great if you also had:

Exposure to Regulatory technologies in Smarsh / ZL

Knowledge of additional programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
