What You’ll Get to Do:We are in need of two virtual desktop engineers to assist with the development, deployment, and O&M of a dynamic desktop solution that is hardware-agnostic, rapidly deployable, and integrates with our current infrastructure. The right candidate must have documented technical acumen and hands-on experience with the development and deployment of virtualized desktop deployments and support. The candidate will work on a team of governments staffers and other contractors to build and maintain our next generation desktop environment.The team will provide support for the next generation desktop solution used by our government customer to conduct and support operations in a dynamic environment. Support under this task focuses on designing, developing, engineering, and integrating into our operational infrastructure, and then maintaining the solution long term.Be part of a department with an expanding range of programs focusing on Cyber Operations, where you get to grow on and between programs with peers who are dedicated to advancing national security. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 5+ years VMWare VSphere ESXi experience including automation of VM deployments/configuration
- 5+ years Ansible experience on Windows and Linux environments. Ansible VMWare experience a must
- Virtualization technologies: VMWare, VSphere, QEMU, Docker
- Experience with VMWare technologies to include VSphere 7/8, VSAN, specifically VMWare Horizon View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- 5+ years of cloud virtualization, specializing in AWS and familiarization with Google and Azure
- 5+ years of Ansible development/scripting playbooks
- 5+ years of VDI development
- Hands on experience writing scripts for automation (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl)
- Proficiency working on and in Linux and Windows environments
- Experience implementing security standards in a fast-paced operational environment, this is extremely important to us
- Software development lifecycle experience
- TCPIP knowledge and understand, strong grasp of networking concepts, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies

- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements
- Flexibility – Works well both independently and as a team player, must be eager to learn
- Candidate should be a self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate
- Experience implementing and documenting standard operating procedures for system deployments

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
