The CN Spain team is currently looking to fill a temporary Video Producer position for a maternity leave replacement. This position will report directly to the Supervising Producer position.

About the position:

As a Video Producer you will work with the team that serves all Conde Nast markets and brands around the globe. With a mission of producing world class videos for our iconic brands, you will oversee content creation, build and maintain relationships with external clients, production houses and internal cross-functional teams. 

The Video Producer  plays a lead role in the execution of branded video programs, from pre-production, through physical production, and into post-production. The Video Producer is accountable for the quality of the finished product and for managing every part of the process to get it there. This position also serves as a connection point for Creative Development, Post-Production, Talent, Legal/Business Affairs and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Produce video ensuring that the creative vision is brought to life on time and on budget, while meeting the highest standards of quality. 

  • Manage every aspect of our most highly complex productions: source talent, locations, vendors, writers & freelancers, post production as needed, create production timelines and budgets, and manage the review process for both clients and internal stakeholders. Lead shoots, either on set or remotely, as needed.

  • Problem-solve daily.

  • Driving and Producing all high-level talent shoots.

  • Produce for all Condé Nast brands in Spain 

  • Lead on set production

  • Support the team lead to partner and collaborate with the Programming/Development team and be the liaison between vendors and other key stakeholders in order to thoroughly produce videos. 

  • Must be comfortable and experienced in tracking high-level content success.

  • Should have global contacts and be able to foster relationships (crew, cast, agents, publicists, vendors, etc.) and continue to grow the global network and resources successfully. 

  • Always has an eye on the larger goals of the video and how each video created impacts KPIs.

  • Work collaboratively with teammates to develop new tools and workflows that will empower the group and broader CN stakeholders.

  • Assist in management of end-to-end production from creative inception to final exports for all Condé Nast brands.

  • Create and manage production schedules (including post and translations workflow), budgets, selects, and final versions of all assigned programs.

  • Must understand the operations and processes of Post Production, in order to align with the Programming plans. 

  • Manage and track the central local language department budget and liaise with finance where necessary. 

    • Financial reconciliations and reporting of all shoots

  • Support the team lead with management of freelancers and onboarding new starters.

  • Reports into the Supervising producer

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in video production, at least 5 year of which in digital video

  • Experienced leading the production of digital long-form video, social-first campaigns, and/or influencer-led executions.

  • An “all hands on deck” and “can-do” attitude. You are a major force behind the shoots, including but not limited to: Art buying, researching, producing - this role does it all.

  • This individual must display leadership qualities and pride in their work. They need to motivate their team and provide clear communications.

  • Must be an expert in digital video and understand all nuances across multiple video platforms.
