Your day at Ferring
As VP of Global Biometrics, you will be based at Ferring’s International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen. From here, you will lead our Global Biometrics organization, representing a core competency in delivering data for clinical studies across Ferring.
Your organization comprises 34 internal colleagues (based primarily in Denmark but also in Japan, the US, and China) and 36 offshore colleagues (based in India) across five areas:

Join the Global Clinical Development leadership team
You will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Development and become a valued member of the Global Clinical Development leadership team.
As a team, we set ambitious goals – and we win together. By basing your management of Global Biometrics on the shared perspective of the leadership team, you help ensure that we are moving forward in the same direction.
As VP of Global Biometrics, you will proactively ensure the provision of a comprehensive and effective statistical support service for our clinical studies through collaboration with the global project organization.
You will also ensure that your team has the correct number of staff with the appropriate skills and experience – and that these are deployed effectively to meet development priorities. This includes ensuring effective knowledge management and allowing staff to share research and learning across teams.
Your key responsibilities include:

Liaising with heads of departments across therapeutic areas, regulatory and clinical groups to understand and define the requirements of the clinical program

Advising on protocol design and offering input into the creation of clinical development plans (CDPs), clinical trial protocols and reports

Collaborating with Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs on producing information and reports, including advising on design

Managing the operations of the biometrics function, balancing core competencies while building a flexible and scalable solution

Ensuring the provision and effective utilization of tools and technology to enable biometrics activities and solutions with improved efficiency

Ensuring that all SOPs are followed and updated and that regulatory requirements are adhered to

Additionally, you have:

A background or substantial experience in statistics

Strong experience in pharmaceutical R&D and navigating interactions with authorities

Extensive experience giving input to development plans, protocols, IND submissions, NDA preparations, and FDA meetings

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
