What We DoWe are looking for a Vice President of Application Operations to join our team. The VP of Application Operations directs and coordinates information systems planning and functions, including all phases of systems design, programming, installation and operations. Reviews and evaluates project feasibility studies based on management's requirements/priorities and implements the installation and operation of product development and information systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to build out the team and drive go-to-market activities
- Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for enhancing production operations and improving efficiency.
- Recommend and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize production operations.
- Direct organizational activities through analyzing company goals, strategies, practices and projects.
- Oversee financial objectives by preparing a budget, forecasting requirements, evaluating trends and planning accordingly.
- Ensure the division has adequate structure, support, and staff to meet needs.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and advancements in software, etc. Develop proposals for implementation of new technologies and applications.
- Direct and coordinate production operations planning and functions, including all customer-facing activities.
- Lead the partnerships and business development efforts for the product rollout.
- Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- 12+ years of experience supporting IT & Applications groups, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Knowledge of a large number of IT trends, techniques and skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, capable of inspiring teams to pursue and realize ambitious objectives.
- Outstanding communication abilities, adept at engaging and swaying stakeholders across all organizational tiers through both verbal and written means.
- Impactful track record of driving business transformation and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in scaling IT & Applications teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay Range: $230,875 - $307,825 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
