Pay range: $15-17.00 hourly. Depending on experience.
Job Summary: Ensure vehicles are checked into auction timely and accurately and act as a liaison between manager and check-in team.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform Check In Duties:
- Locate assigned units in the check In area.
- Complete vehicle check-ins according to customer specifications.
- Provide and record accurate information to computer check-in on each vehicle as it is received for auction (VIN, vehicle numbers, mileage, consignor, make, model, trim package).
- Use handheld scanners, tablets and printers.
- Place stickers on vehicles for identification purposes.
- Ensure units are checked in timely for auction work flow deadlines.
- Other responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment and tools properly and advise Management or any needed equipment maintenance or breakdown.
- Practice and promote teamwork at all times.
- Set a good example or attitude and performance.
- Practice and promote company core values.
Qualifications:
- Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year previous Check In experience preferred.
- 1 year previous experience in a leadership role preferred.
- General computer knowledge and data entry skills.
