The role, in a nutshell:
The User Experience Software Engineer is responsible for building and delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern front-end development technologies and tools, and a proven ability to create visually appealing, intuitive, and performant experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather and understand user requirements
- Working closely with UX designers, product managers and backend developers to understand requirements, provide feedback, and integrate with backend APIs
- Develop user interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and easy to use
- Implement front-end code using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Test and debug software to ensure it meets functional and usability requirements
- Monitor user feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies
- Experience with front-end development technologies and tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with designers and product managers
Nice to haves:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- Experience with GraphQL and/or creating REST APIs
- Proficiency with version control systems and workflow, particularly Git
Base Salary Range
$128,000—$156,000 USD
