Elekta is seeking a dedicated and skilled Upgrade Project Manager for the M.U.tation project to lead our software upgrade program. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts both internally and externally, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to customer satisfaction will be essential as you navigate the complexities of this project.

A proactive, self-motivated approach to maintaining and updating your technical expertise is vital. You will anticipate potential challenges and address specific needs in various situations, ensuring that communication flows smoothly across all channels. Regular updates and reports—weekly, monthly, and quarterly—will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

What you’ll do at Elekta

Your responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Coordinate upgrades with the clusters/regions

  • Verify customer eligibility

  • Verify customer’s hardware and beam models compatibility

  • If needed, communicate with the stakeholders for hardware replacement

  • Ensure the quality of the training for the third party and upgraders

  • Ensure the excellent quality of the upgrades

  • Ensure the communication with the customers all around the world

  • Liaise with E&T department to schedule customer training (based on different versions)

  • Provide clear and sustainable reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly)

  • Hold kick off meetings with customers and/or distributors remotely or onsite

  • Ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the implications of any upgrade work being undertaken before - that work commences. Provide and maintain all documentation required to support a software upgrade

  • Being available as required to take calls from customers, Elekta engineers and Distributors pertaining an Upgrade

  • Escalate to management any technical issues that are likely to become significant, including potential issues preventing new software rollouts

  • Ensure that at all times, Business Units and distributors are kept updated with progress of any issues being dealt with

  • Fluent in at least 1 other European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish).
