How you will make an impact:
The Unemployment Specialist serves as the primary owner of the unemployment claims administration process, including but not limited to gathering and compiling documents, preparing written responses to unemployment claims, preparing for cases, and representing the organization at unemployment hearings. This position is the primary contact for both clients and state agencies with regard to all unemployment claims.
What You Bring
- Must reside in Minnesota.
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in unemployment claims processing.
- Familiarity with state and federal unemployment laws, regulations, and procedures.
- In-depth understanding of eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and appeal processes.
- Experience with SIDES (State Information Data Exchange System) or other state response systems.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems); UKG Ready preferred.
- PEO or HR Shared Services experience highly desirable.
