In this Office-based position (Ise, Japan), you are responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our customers IoT devices through compliance with certain standards such as ETSI EN 303645, the Radio Equipment Directive, Cyber Security resilience Act, US Cyber Trust Mark, and evolving international IOT Standards.
It is an opportunity to learn and grow, as we develop Cybersecurity skills locally for global markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works on projects, learns through observation and gains knowledge from (senior) team members and through hands-on experience.
• Ensures goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame.
• Develops technical, personal, and market domain knowledge and skills.
• Acquires good understanding of the global transaction security business.
• Able to perform research and absorb knowledge about an indicated and market related topic, share knowledge by giving presentations or create whitepapers.
• Being capable of performing duties independently after a period of time.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Provide accurate testing, and high quality reports
• Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a great fit:

• Candidate with security certification (such as CEH, CompTIA+) or a strong tendency towards IT and IT Related activities. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (Would be preferred)
• Passionate about cybersecurity, the latest trends in technology.
• Understanding of basic security principle, IoT architecture and protocols would be an advantage
• Experience or coursework in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java highly beneficial
• Basic understanding of communications (e.g., USB, Serial, Ethernet, BT, Wi-Fi) would be an dvantage
• Basic understanding of the Operating Systems (e.g., Linux, Android/iOS) would be required
• Willing to learn and follow instructions to conduct security testing.
• Basic report writing skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
• Business Level Japanese language skill both written and verbal.

A self-motivated team player who can work independently (minimal supervision) as well as being part of the team, learns new skills as required, has attention to detail and is good at record keeping.
