Treasury Associate
DEPARTMENT: Treasury

REPORTS TO: Manager, Treasury

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Treasury Associate will support the Treasury department in cash management and compliance. This position will report to the Manager of Treasury. The Treasury Associate will perform daily procedures to ensure the timely and accurate reporting and processing of bank transactions, both internally and externally.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintain client bank accounts; including sufficient funds, wire transfers and ACHs
- Review and process incentive payments
- Process daily deposits, payment batches and billing transactions
- Review of payment documentation and validation of payment request
- Respond to inquiries on status of payment and deposits
- Create, document and suggest improvements for processes, policies and procedures and participate in the implementation and roll out
- Assist with the continuous improvement of departmental documentation of and support for financial statement activity and balances
- Assist with audit requests and reviewing documents prior to submission.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed
- Monthly reconciliation process
- Knowledge or willingness to learn the domestic and global banking rules, requirements and processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of Finance, Accounting or Accounts Payable experience
- Treasury experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with accounting software such as NetSuite and treasury management software a plus, but not required
- Experience in banking platforms
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Deliver accurate work products on time
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented
