Position Summary: Tidal Basin Group, the leading experts in comprehensive emergency and disaster management services, has an opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable, and skilled Travel Resource Coordinator to join our Travel team! The ideal candidate will be an experienced travel operations and logistics professional with the ability to deploy and support onsite operations including developing relationships with lodging providers as well as performing coordination activities with Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations Management. The Travel Resource Coordinator will understand project operational dynamics and be responsible for securing and facilitating travel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Secure and coordinate travel arrangements using GDS or a booking platform.
- Respond promptly and professionally to travel requests for a variety of travel needs including – corporate events, project specific travel, trainings, meetings, business development, and conferences.
- Ensure all travel policies are followed and provide recommended updates as needed.
- Generate travel reports and participate in technology improvements to meet growing travel demands.
- Provide travel assistance and support to leadership and all employees.
- Deploy to client operation locations to secure travel provider relationships, make travel arrangements and support project operational activities, as directed.
- Work collaboratively with the Expense team to capture and tract travel expenses.
- Secure and manage longer term lodging as directed.
- Maintain travel schedules.
- Support coordination of deployment and demobilization activities.
- Support the travel team in completing time-sensitive projects including training events and corporate meetings.
- Travel as needed to meet operational needs.
- Complete all required trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, or a related field, or 3 years of relevant travel experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of travel operations and coordination experience.
- Experience using GDS and booking platforms.
