At Trimble’s Technology team in our premises in Espoo (Leppävaara), Finland, we’re not just coding—we’re pioneering. We build the software brains behind cutting-edge Trimble products, tackling real-world tech challenges every day. As part of our R&D innovation team, you’ll get hands-on experience with modern technologies, test out crazy ideas, and maybe even help shape the future of the industry.
We hope you will be able to start in May and work until the end of August, but we can be flexible with the start and end date.
With us you will
- Be offered a development direction and tasks, taking into account your existing skills and interests
- 3D graphics large scale BIM models visualization and authoring, for native Desktop, Mobile and Web platforms
- AI assistance development and integration with our existing software
- User Experience development for new emerging tech, 3D UX, Virtual Reality UX, Artificial Intelligence UX
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- C++, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python programming experience (at least two of these)
- Skills in 3D math, databases, DirectX, Metal, Vulcan, UX basics are considered a plus
- No fear of working on others’ code or exploring 3rd party solutions
- Good team working skills
What Skills Could Be An Advantage
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or any other IDE
- Git usage
- Being a self-starter

About Your Location
You will be based in our brand new office in Leppävaara, Espoo. It is only a 5 min walk from Leppävaara train station to our office. We have flexible working hours and a hybrid working model.
About Technology Team
The Trimble Technology Unit is responsible for developing and maintaining software components that are utilized in various Trimble products. We provide consultation on application development projects, addressing technological issues related to technology solutions and software development in general. As Trimble's R&D department, our Technology team aims to explore and find applications for modern emerging technologies.
