This position is part of our precision motion control BU and will support our testing team related topics for robotics and automation. Celera Motion’s precision component and subsystem solutions solve application-specific challenges for technology-driven original equipment manufacturers from a range of markets, including surgical robotics, semiconductors and warehouse automation/humanoids.
As a Test Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, fixtures, and requirements. The engineer selected will be focused on testing and verifying each new product that the company will be launching. The engineer will also help detect bugs and suggest improvements to enhance the user experience on the software developed on the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verify and detect bugs before the product is launched to customers.
- Validate and verify hardware designs.
- Write internal documentation and test reports.
- Define the Test and Verification Plans for Servo Drives products.
- Review and improve external documentation for Servo Drives products (product manuals, datasheets, etc.).
- Improve internal documentation for Servo Drives products (architecture, detailed design, etc.).
- Support customers via email or online meetings.
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Control/Robotics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience.
- Experience in software testing procedures.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with electronic circuit technology design and assembly processes.
- Background in electrical power applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Personal interest in the Robotics/Motion Control field.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Capacity to analyze problems from multiple perspectives and explore creative solutions.
