Leidos Defense Systems Uncrewed Systems Integration and Test Team at Leidos currently has openings for Technical Support Engineers to support critical UAS systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of engineers to help DoD Uncrewed Systems support the warfighter.
Primary Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team that provides 24/7 support to the warfighter for critical mission systems. In this role, you’ll be trained in these critical mission systems to support the support desk role. Your expertise will help support the warfighter in the field, as you provide help desk duties for these mission critical systems.
Provide 24/7 support desk position, providing Level 1-3 remote support.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of recent relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of recent relevant experience will be considered.
Must have system expertise to include:

Configuration support for the end user.

Remote software troubleshooting with end user.

Remote network troubleshooting with end user.
-
Software testing for development team.
-
Experience with support tools and process refinement.

Documentation of issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
Must be willing to:

Travel Up to 10%

Rotating shift schedules with 8–12-hour shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts.
Must be a U.S. citizen possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and demonstrated skills in the following support this position:

Ability to acquire IAT Level II Certification.

Experience as system administrator.
-
Experience in a service desk environment to include using ticketing system to track issues and issue resolution.

Strong attention to detail.
-
Strong experience with troubleshooting independently.
-
RedHat or other Linux distro experience.
-
Experience with TCP/IP networks.
-
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Strong documentation skills.

Strong communication skills.

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
