Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Own, execute and fully accountable for a comprehensive digital plan for the global SAP S/4HANA transformation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines, including full accountability for budget and cost management. Manage and coordinate dependencies, alignments, and trade-offs with other major digital transformations

  • Project Oversight: Be responsible for the entire lifecycle, including system design, configuration, data migration, and launch activities. Manage scope, budget and timelines within acceptable quality and risk levels

  • Collaborator Engagement: Act as the primary digital partner with business areas and external partners, encouraging collaboration and a one team mentality. Accountable for vendor management (supported by procurement), SoW negotiations and contractuals, and performance management

  • Team Management: Coordinate and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary group of SAP and digital professionals and product teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and skill development

  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies, using them to improve the value delivered by SAP S/4HANA

As the ERP Technical Programme Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business by driving the successful implementation of the ERP transformation program. Our first step on this journey is our ‘foundational leap,’ moving from R3 ECC to S4 Hana. Reporting directly to the VP Corporate Product Technology, you will be fully accountable for the entire technical delivery lifecycle, including the end-to-end design, configuration, data migration, etc, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and operational needs. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative, collaborate with multi-functional partners, and establish a robust foundation for our digital future.

We are looking for new team member who is capable of orchestrating highly complex programs and highly experienced in SAP Programme delivery. Pragmatism will be key, you’ll need to make sense of the world through collaboration, while adding the right amount of structure but avoiding unnecessary governance.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role managing large-scale SAP transformations, preferably within the manufacturing sector

  • Deep expertise in SAP platforms, including ECC and S/4HANA, with a solid understanding of their functional and technical capabilities

  • Track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-country ERP implementations on time and within budget

  • Strong leadership and partner management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all organizational levels

  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making prowess, along with a focus on achieving positive outcomes

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are a plus

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
