About your team
The Investment Companies team provides a high quality, value-add professional services, to six UK-listed Investment Companies. These companies represent an aggregate of circa £6billion of shareholders’ funds, and each is listed on the Premium Segment of the London Stock Exchange. Four of the companies are part of the FTSE 250.
About your role
To support the team by handling administrative tasks within the team in a timely and accurate way.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support to the Head of Investment Companies.
- Board Support and Meeting Management: To assist with organising meetings, booking meeting rooms, calendar management, catering and inviting presenters.
- Travel & Expenses: Assisting with flight and hotel bookings for directors and senior team members. Helping to process expense claims mostly in relation to directors’ travel.
- Invoices: Preparing invoices for approval and uploading them onto the expenses system for approval.
- Document Preparation: To assist with preparing template meeting papers, correspondence and company filings.
- Company Secretarial Work: Draft company filings for Companies House for changes to directors’ and companies’ details. Prepare draft stock exchange announcements.
- To work closely with the other investment companies team members and provide support with any other ad-hoc requests.
About you
The person we are looking to fill this role is expected to already have previous experience working in an administrative role, covering tasks such as those highlighted in the key responsibilities. This experience does not necessarily need to be from a similar type of business/or the financial services sector. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly and can work efficiently and accurately. Experience of working with senior managers or directors would be an advantage.
