Systems Engineer with lead for Modules & Components (all genders)

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your responsibilities:
- Default point of contact for all Modules & Components related activities with respect to Reutlingen
- Lead, develop and manage the local Modules & Components application team of currently 4 team members working in several Module areas (Drives, Mast&Hydraulics, Electronics)
- Furthermore act as a local expert for our local Electronics engineers (technical / functional leadership role)
- Take an active role in truck development projects with focus on application and integration of components, modules and systems
- Responsible for electronic system architecture as well as system integration into customer Eco System
- Proactively co-design global strategy; assure and guard the implementation of global strategies in local projects
- Evaluate milestones of the respective Module and reporting project progress
- Plan resource with local project leads and organize involvement of the team including requirements management
- Ensure and improve strong exchange with other development teams locally and globally
- Close collaboration with global (off-site) Centers of Competence
Your qualifications:
- Successful completion of a degree in engineering science, preferable in Mechatronics or Electronics
- Several years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing industry (experience in intralogistics area would be a benefit) and ideally first experience in a team leader role
- Good understanding of software intensive systems like machinery and their electro-mechanical system architecture requirements
- Strong capability and willingsness for networking
- Empathic character with sensitivity for people with different personalities and backgrounds as well as intercultural expertise
- Used to working flexibly, independently and reliably in different projects and teams
- Distinctive go-forward mentality, problem-solving and solutions-thinking skills
- Strong communication skills in German and English (fluent written and oral)
