In order to support the Digital Flight Control Systems department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
System Designer for Flight Control Systems (d/f/m)
The Digital Flight Control Systems department at Airbus Defence & Space is responsible for the system design of flight control systems for fighter aircraft. This includes development, architecture, design, and qualification to ensure these aircraft remain competitive in an evolving operational environment.
To strengthen our international team, we are looking for a System Designer to adapt and modify the architecture and design in order to fulfill new customer requirements and enhance aircraft capabilities.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Definition/Modification of the aircraft design and its functions

Definition of IV&V Plans

Stakeholder/ Interface Management

Control of Input and Output Data

Computing and Moding
-
Control and monitoring of primary and secondary actuators

FCS Communication with other aircraft systems

Redundancy Management for safety-critical functions
Desired skills and qualifications
-
University degree in Aerospace-/Software Engineering or comparable studies
-
Working experience in a comparable role
-
Experience in ARP4754/61; MBSE; IMA is an advantage
-
Experience in Flight Control System; Fortran; Requirements Engineering; DOORs; System Design and Development

Team spirit & teamwork

Fluent in English

Fluent in German is an advantage
