In this role, you will be responsible for the areas that support the identification and development of the product offerings for the business. You will participate in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions and develop the year plan for the own function on the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit.
As a Synchronous condenser Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

Defining and managing multiyear product life-cycle strategy for the Brush Power generation synchronous generator product portfolio, which shall be done based on concrete data-point the product manager will collect and work out, having customers, overall market and competitiveness in within transmission system operators and power producers as basis.

Defining, implementing, updating and optimizing the life-cycle strategy as well as the value proposition for the Synchronous condenser product line, keeping a constant update considering the through user experience and market trends.

Being in charge of business development and early customer engagement for the qualification of new product, first introduction and commercialization executing through the Demand To Inquiry process.

Defining standard product configuration(s) and its serviceability, including the whole synchronous condenser system and ancillaries. Working with Gas Turbine Equipment, Gas Turbine Service and Climate Technology Solution platform leaders and sales maximizing the applicability to offerings.

Producing cost competitiveness and vitality along overall product life with incremental cost out and rationalization initiatives, including supply chain strategy, and make vs. buy decision

Creating and maintaining product policies

Creating and/or reviewing contents related to all materials used for product informational, brochure, features sheet, technical papers and press release.

Defining the product development program. Its flawless execution from the conceptual design to the industrialized product, through prototyping, including a full operational production process and all required documentation (design, quality, supply chain, cost related).

Monitoring and control program cost and cycle and management of corrective action to mitigate risk of deviation from target
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
-
Have proven experience in the Transmission system business.

Demonstrate technical knowledge on Power System and substation in terms of sizing, ancillaries, integration, operation, installation and commissioning, reliability, power and control systems

Have good knowledge in electrical rotating synchronous machines
-
Be highly motivated and results driven, able to deliver under pressure in a dynamic environment, assuring high quality standards.

Show excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.

Display excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact at all levels within and outside the company.

Be able to work in team, being inclusive and collaborative.

Be able to travel 25% within Europe mainly
