Real Chemistry is looking for a SVP, Group Account Director to join our growing team!

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic SVP, Group Account Director to join our team. The SVP, Group Account Director will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a portfolio of promotional medical education client accounts, overseeing account teams, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve client objectives and agency growth. 

 

What you'll do:

 Lead a team of Account folks to develop and execute integrated strategies that align with client goals and objectives across a portfolio of ~$7-8MM in promotional medical education work

 Serve as a senior point of contact for key client stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction

 Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations 

 Drive organic growth within existing client accounts

 Support new business pitches in collaboration with internal teams to expand our client portfolio

 Develop and maintain strategic medical education account plans, forecasts, and budgets

 Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients and internal teams, staying up-to-date of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices 

 Mentor and coach account team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and advancement within the organization

What you should have:

 Bachelor’s Degree; Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or related fieldpreferred

 8+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Services, or related roles within an advertising agency, with expertise in the promotional medical education space specifically 

 Proven track record of success in managing multiple medical education-focused client accounts and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution 

 Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

 Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences 

 Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends 

 Demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationship and navigate challenging situations with professionalism and integrity 

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

 

 Pay Range: $260,000.00-$285,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
