Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement GenAI solutions: Research, design, and build custom GenAI models for various supply chain challenges, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier selection, cost reductions and risk management.

  • Manage large datasets. Identifying and collecting relevant data from various sources within the supply chain, cleaning and preparing the data for analysis, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • Model training and evaluation: Train and evaluate GenAI models using relevant datasets and metrics. Fine-tune models for optimal performance and accuracy.

  • Deployment and integration: Deploy trained GenAI models into existing supply chain systems and integrate them with relevant platforms.

  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, data analysts, and IT professionals, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable GenAI solutions.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in GenAI technologies and their applications in the supply chain domain.

  • Contribute to research and development: Actively participate in research projects and explore innovative GenAI applications to enhance supply chain efficiency and agility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management Systems (e.g. ERP, WMS, TMS)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Knowledge of GenAI, machine learning, predictive analytics or similar role in supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ preferred
  • Strong math skills and problem-solving preferred
  • Professional certification in data science preferred


Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Engineering 

  • Five years of experience with AI and Machine Learning required.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
