Your Role
As a Summer Design Technology Intern in Gensler's New York office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
This is a full-time program running from June 3 through August 8, 2024. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This is not a remote position.
What You Will Do
- Work with the Design Technology Team to develop new digital workflows
- Assembling standardized construction details in Revit
- Model Making, including site models and digital fabrication study models
- Develop parametric 3D Revit family content
- Create visual scripts for office-wide use
- Develop Visualization Templates
- Compile and format training documentation
Your Qualifications
- Must have completed their 3rd year of a professional Architecture program or 1st year of a Master’s degree program in Architecture
- Revit proficiency required, understanding of parameters, material creation, and architectural visualization methods
- Understanding of construction details and processes
- Strong 3-D computer skills, Rhino and Grasshopper/Arduino a plus
- Experience with 3-D Printing and laser cutting preferred
- Capable skills with presentation software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
