We are hiring a Student Assistant – FinOps in Bremen or Hamburg. We would like to hear from you about your finance/accounting- related studies and if you already have some experience in financial administration from a previous apprenticeship or role as student assistant.

Key Responsibilities
As a Student Assistant – FinOps you will support our FinOps team to ensure correct invoicing towards our customer(s) and correct bookings of outgoing invoices, purchase orders and incoming supplier invoices into our SAP system. This is including but not limited to:

Ensuring timely and accurate job costing done for specific clients.

Creating and maintaining vendors/customers in financial system.

Correctness and timeliness of creating purchase orders and booking supplier invoices.

Processing and validating workflows (incoming invoices) daily.

Checking the correctness of invoices related to direct cost of sales with warehouse operations manager.

Creating sales orders and preparing invoices to our customers.
We are looking for

Currently enrolled in finance or business administration related studies.

Proactive person who is not only booking the documents or producing the number, but who has a critical eye on discrepancies in the processes.

Good computer skills – Microsoft Office and Excel.

A team player with a flexible attitude.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills written and verbal.

Native level German and good level of English (written and verbal).

Availability 20 hours/week

Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial module SAP is a plus
