INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Director to join our INEOS Composites business at our Navi Mumbai office, India. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Business Development function. This position will report to Country Head .The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth and technology advancements in India.
- Align regional initiatives with global organizational goals, ensuring a cohesive and forward-looking strategy.
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges to maintain competitive advantage.
- Business Development
- Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across various sectors.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government bodies.
- Oversee the development of proposals, negotiations, and agreements to drive revenue growth.
- Technology Innovation
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technology roadmaps and prioritize investments.
- Serve as a thought leader on technology trends, guiding the organization’s innovation strategy.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Represent the organization at key industry events, conferences, and forums.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuously assess market conditions and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
Required Level of education & Experience in general
- Chemical or Polymer engineering preferrable.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic leadership roles, with a strong focus on business development and technology.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and innovation in complex and competitive markets.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in leveraging data and technology to drive business outcomes.
- Analytical Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
