About Team: 
Sam’s club is a membership-based retail warehouse club owned and operated by Walmart. With more than 600 physical clubs across different geographic region in US, Sam’s Club chain serves more than 50 million US members and is rated among the top retailers in US. 

Some of this role key responsibilities are but not limited to

  • Be A part of different new Business initiatives, Large scale program involving multiple cross functional teams, Building Platform Initiatives.
  • Setup tools and processes into a new project from scratch - Jira, Confluence, reporting, meetings, diff collaboration mechanisms across teams.
  • Work with Engineering and Product and ensure correctness of initiatives , project, headcount across all tools used by different teams.
  • Manage large scale initiatives by collaborating with different TPMS and coming up with one view of headcount, capitalization, Project Status, Risks, dependencies.
  • Identify different level of requirements , reporting and cadence for diff audience and highlight risks , issues, dependencies - 1. Executive Level 2.Senior Leadership - One level Details. 3. Mid Management - Two Level Details etc.
  • Coordinate with multiple project teams and stakeholders across IDC and US
  • Track project progress and performance. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Regular Communication on project status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts early in the game and work with different teams to come up with mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated ability of excellent Project and Program management skills including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Proven experience on large scale Fulfilment Programs
  • TPM experience managing transformational and cross-functional programs.
  • Adaptability, very good execution, and focused on achieving results.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage others directly or indirectly.
  • Excellent influence and communication skills and ability to build relationships when necessary to work with cross-functional teams, with different cultures and in different time zones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide project teams towards successful project completion.
