Job Description

As a Sr Specialist Special Projects within the Logistics department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations. Your focus will be on identifying business needs, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment across teams to achieve operational excellence.

Role Scope

  • Oversee and coordinate projects ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
  • Take ownership in driving process alignment across teams, creating workarounds and solutions to further improve company-wide operational SOPs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and performance improvement opportunities, using insights to run targeted projects.
  • Maintain continuous alignment with logistics heads for the implementation and evaluation of process changes and automation topics.
  • Serve as the POC for training, quality, and local logistics when it comes to technical knowledge, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and equipped.
  • Conduct project research to analyze and identify the scope, objectives, and requirements of new projects.
  • - Prepare and update project documents, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible to relevant
  • stakeholders.
  • Communicate and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.
  • Track and report on project progress, monitoring and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure project quality, compliance, and alignment with company standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create detailed project proposals, plans, schedules, budgets, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel, balancing priorities and resources to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ experience in project management within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes and automation tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage complex tasks.
